Dr. Kristy Hayes is thrilled to work with Dr. Durschlag and his team in America’s finest city! Dr. Hayes is committed to providing the highest quality dental care to your child in a fun and positive environment. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Hayes realized her passion for working with children as a dance teacher and summer camp counselor teaching dramatic arts and sailing. Dr. Hayes proudly served service members and military families first as a General Dentist and then as a Pediatric Dentist in the United States Army for nine years before joining our practice. Dr. Hayes’ favorite thing about being a Pediatric Dentist is helping kids overcome their anxiety and learn that the going to the dentist can be fun!

When she’s not at work, you can find Dr. Hayes spending time with her husband, Jim and her two daughters Charlotte and Violet, taking a dance class or exploring San Diego!
